Ultrasonic LORA

Ultrasonic sensors are commonly used to measure distance, level, and proximity. They work by emitting high-frequency sound waves and measuring the time it takes for the waves to bounce back. LORA (Long-Range) is a type of low-power, long-range wireless communication technology that can transmit data over several kilometers.Combining Ultrasonic and LORA technology can provide an effective solution for remote sensing applications that require long-range data transmission and precise distance measurements.

Working Principle

  • Ultrasonic sensors emit sound waves in the ultrasonic frequency range (20-200 kHz) and measure the time it takes for the waves to bounce back from the target object.

  • The distance between the sensor and the object can be calculated based on the time of flight of the sound wave.

  • LORA technology uses a radio frequency (RF) signal to transmit data between two devices. It operates at a frequency range of 433 MHz or 915 MHz and can transmit data over long distances (up to 10 km).

  • By combining Ultrasonic and LORA technology, the Ultrasonic sensor can transmit distance measurement data wirelessly over long distances.
